(South Pasadena, CA)—Everything you need to know you learned in kindergarten. Well, maybe not everything. As children grow and explore they figure out more and more about the world around them, how they feel about it and what they dream about. Teaspoon at a Time is singer-songwriter Dave Kinnoin's musical journey into the triumphs and challenges kids face as they march toward adulthood. Sophisticated, fun, rockin', inspirational—these are just a few ways to describe Dave's first new recording in 10 years.

The songs on Teaspoon at a Time give a rock n' roll-flavored reflection on a variety of subjects: the joy in giving of yourself to help others (How Good It Feels); little by little you can achieve your goal (Teaspoon at a Time), personal power (Nuthin's 2 Tuff), reading is hip (Cool Thing), you've gotta have heart (No Matter How Small)—15 original, go-get-'em songs.

On 12 of the 15 tunes, Dave teamed up with outstanding songwriting partners, giving each song its own special voice. And speaking of voice, a retailer listening to the CD at Toy Fair was overheard saying "That guy's [Dave] got a great voice!" As is always the case on a Dave Kinnoin recording, the musicianship and production are first rate.

Dave has recorded five previous CDs: Fun-A-Rooey, Daring Dewey, Dunce Cap Kelly, Getting Bigger and The Earth's Birthday Sing-Along which have garnered him an impressive list of prestigious awards including Parents' Choice Gold, NAPPA (National Association of Parenting Publications Award) Gold, Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum, Songwriters Guild of America Rising Star Award and an INDIE Nomination.

As a songwriter, Dave has written for a long list of family entertainment and educational companies, consistently creating new and innovative material for each. He has written over 200 songs for companies such as Jim Henson TV, Video, and Interactive; Disney Audio, Video, and TV; Davidson & Associates; Neurosmith; Simon and Shuster Interactive; Sesame Street and Sony Wonder Home Video; and Sesame Workshop.

Billboard Magazine has described Dave as "one of the most successful singer-songwriters working today."
